Barbera vs Simoncelli at Mugello (video)

This is what happens when you lock up your front wheel at 200kmh

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnvxdgB_FRs

Check out www.motogp.com for the rant from Barbera about how (in nice words) he thinks Simoncelli is a c00nt.

For those who dont know, Simoncelli is the dude in front and by pulling cutting off Hector Barbera's (mr polka dots) he ended up jamming Barberas brake lever right back to the bar causing it to lock the front wheel and send Mr Polka Dots flying. Ouch.

I hope Simoncelli felt like a fucking tool up on that podium.

I say "Racing Incident". Of course Barbera would think Simoncelli is a c...

All Simoncelli was doing was defending his position.... I guess he did make a deliberate change of line, and Barbera was a little closer than he thought...
But I doubt he expected it would have the effect it did.

May be MotoGP's rule makers will make it illegal to block from right to left?

Or, fit farm bike style guards to prevent the front brake being touched by another bike....

Anyhow, when I saw this live, I knew exactly what happened. Shame the commentary team had no clue. It makes me wonder if they spend too much time talking, and not enough about understanding how motorcycles work.

Funny what you say about the comenatators. I think they had Randy Mamola doing comentating at the last WSBK round before the weekend and I would have expected him to know a thing or two about bikes... there were more than a few times when i wondered if he knew what he was watching.
