    m109r goes down on HW22

Just arrived home from OZ on Sunday , phone rings and it's another cruiser , phone call goes as this " Toaster has gone down on hw 22 and he is being rushed to Waikato hospital , get hold of his wife" . So i ring and Di is already in the car racing to Waikato. .As the night run into the morning we find out a bloody sheep has got out of a paddock and run across the road in front of him, he slapped the brakes on and the bike went out side ways and him and the bike sliding sideways down 22 , bike into one side of the ditch and Toaster on the other side ditch . 40min later he is on the way to waikato , with breathing problems and chest pains + back pain. We recovered the bike today tank damage , exhaust, bars, indicators, engine guards, mirrors and a few more bits laying around the road.

We would like to thank the families who came to help last night. And to johnnyflash and the nzcruiser group

Toaster has broken ribs, head trauma, and back problems due to a older back problem, he is expected to make a full recovery, and is also to be brought back to Auckland this week

Yuck. Not good news. Give our best to Cameron.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

He has a tough nut! Not a good look though really Toaster, your beautiful, shiney bike

Still, any off you get to "sort of" walk away from makes up for a damaged bike. Take care now mate, heal quickly, we will miss you on June 28th!

Bugger! The were-sheep strike again, eh?

Best of luck to Toaster, glad to hear none of the injuries were too serious.

Might be time to ditch that M109R and swap to a nice safe sprotbike!

Ahhhh bugger. That's gotta hurt, but it will get better. Best of luck to Toaster and tell him to tap those bastards for Codeine - it's the good stuff.

Tough break (pun intended). Hope that healing is quick as can be. Is the bike a write-off?? She sure was a pretty one.
And as a pre-emptive strike, are we blaming the sheep or rider inattention? Cos Katman is sure to be along shortly, and we need to get our stories straight.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
