Canadian with bike part falling off in Rotorua/Taupo area roads

The blue right side panel has fallen off during riding between and around the Whakatane, Rotorua and Taupo Areas.

It covers my exhaust and airbox and I would do anything to get it back.

If anyone riding in those areas sees a blue panel on the side of the road let me know

I know its a pretty slim chance but figured I would post here anyways

here are some pics one showing the left side panel that is still there and the missing spot on the right side of the bike where the panel was held on by a single bolt

Can you recall your general route? - No point in looking on roads you didn't travel.

    Buggar!
If you can't find them, most MX dealers should have or be able to get the plastic part you need, or maybe try a bike wrecker.
Hope you're holed up away from the storms somewhere warm.

    True enough

    Rotorua:

Out lake rd to the motorcycle shop just over the bridge.
    Out to Sulpher Point
Around the Main st that the I-site is on.
Out to the Green and Blue Lake.

Then took the main route south to Taupo

    Taupo:
    Out visiting the Huka Falls
In and around the Main St checking out the I-site.
Then out to the airport and to the industrial park around crown road.

Then headed down to Tirangi along the main highway on the east of the lake.

Called all the dismantlers in the taranaki area. only place left to check is anderson bikes in Rotorua.

Unfortunately a 1992 Yamaha XT400 is a very un common bike.

thanks so much for all your replies and views!

Edit... Sorry have gone round a few of the streets in town and out to Huka falls... Couldn't see it any where.
