Sorry to hear about your accident. Bikes are replaceable, people are not. Glad to hear you're on the mend; take it easy and heal well. My thoughts with your family as well, having 'dad' out of action.

I bet I know where the crash was. There's always sheep wandering about in the ditch or on the road there.

This wouldn't be the first time someone's binned on 22 due to stock on the road.

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

Get well soon toaster. Pity your beautiful bike is damaged - I saw it that one time on the road and it was boooootiful.

Toaster has made excellent contributions to discussions on safety and personal responsibility on KB, and there has been debate about whether some accidents are really accidents or preventable, and this one seems to fall into the "just bad luck" category. We're all bikers and to ride past walking pace (as Ixion points out) there is always some risk. Bikes can be mended, I hope Toaster get back on his feet OK soon. I know he'll be back, and hopefully soon.

Good luck with the recovery Toaster.

That's good news Toaster's on the mend.

I guess in the same situation I would try and hit the sheep straight on. I suppose if you have a chance of missing it, you will always try to do so. I love the M109. Had a short blast on one a couple of months ago. Not the most manouverable of vehicles though.

    Bests...........
