Yeah things are not going so well..... although the blood clots and liver issues are being managed and the broken bones etc are healing fine, the major issue now arising is the impact of the head injury and my loss of memory and concentration/exhaustion.

I am facing some assessments on this and unfortunately work has to put someone in my role to manage the mounting workload and is now having to prepare for the likely possibility that I may not be able to perform my role to the extent I was able/expected to due to the complex and high pressured nature of the work, which may mean leaving my role and possibly my employment.

This is not good news at all.....
Ouch! Sympathies! Have you got any memory back yet? I know you have good support, which will be reassuring, but I feel your frustration!
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!

Long term memory is back. Not much of the day of the crash at all. Lots of short term memory just vanishes which is so very frustrating.

Spoke to the witness who actually saw the crash...

He said it was a goat running along the fenceline then ran straight out into me. The bike went down and I somersaulted off the bike and hit a fence.

All things considered I think I am fortunate to have survived with the injuries I have.

Lots of Neurology assessments.... as they have realised the head injury was a lot worse than first thought.

Haven't worked since the crash and they doubt I will return to working for some months..... bugger.
