A copper than can drive is going to be another critter all-togeather.
All that being said,Ive heard so much Bullshit from guys like you since I've been a member of this site that I don't really care what you do unless it involves somebody else that didn't need a cunt like you in their day/life.
Give it your best shot.I hope you die slow.

So your riding skills are that poor that you would crash so soon?? :disapint:

By the way, just read the link you put up, re-read it yourself and ask yourself "Are the circumstances the same?"
Maybe you are way to young to remember, or know some one who does, what the roads were like back then, the cars/bikes the cops had back then, how much other traffic was on the roads back then. If you knew the answers to those, you would appreciate there is no comparison to then and now.

Every Tuesday and Friday is multi hire day you just turn up at the track pay your money and away you go

if there are a few people out there it is split into 20min sessions cars,single/ seaters/bikes,you also need a spotter with you in case they have to come pick you up

That'd be just about fast enough to beat the slow F3 guys,I might have a chance against you on my bucket after all

Yeah Good point, stupid thing to say.
When I hear somebody say they just don't care about others I get pissed an respond in kind.
Makes it worse since I've spent a fair bit of time counting the spots on the ceiling at middlemore because of a similar attitude.
Have slapped meself about the ears an won't do it again,,,,,,,,

No membership, although Cant car club members(I think) get a better rate so if you're planning on doing a few it may be worth while looking at joining

if you get lucky there wont be any cars out there and you'll get heaps of track time,it's worth ringing the track to check as sometimes the track is hired out to different organisations for driver training etc or when big race meets are coming up

Tuesdays are the best as you dont get as many of the guys practising for their weekends racing

Well thats that then isn't it? I'll be informing my boss that I'll be needing tuesdays off from now on, getting me a spotter and heading to Ruapuna just as soon as I can. Should have really got off my lazy ass and done some digging myself on this issue, big thanks to those whop have enlightened me. And Manuboys hooking me up with a track day next year.

BTW, yes I am a track virgin. Driven a formula ford around 'puna though a few years back, but only about 10 laps. I've been riding for about 15yrs now, and haven't got out to the track. Shameful...

    Read it closer .
Both those situations were around thirty years ago and happened on the spur of the moment,I wasn't planning on fucking with the cops at the exspence of others like you.Unlike you I do care about other peoples safty.
When I wrote about those two incidents it was as an example of something stupid I'd done in the past and I as much as said so,or did you miss that.
BTW you don't have to go seaching my old threads for ammo' I've made a lot of fuck ups and payed the price in a number of ways.
A permanant disabilty,Five years in prison, untold money down the drain, the death of one of my brothers, the deaths of several of my friends.
You can have a dig if you like, you'll find mention of all of it on this site in one form or another.I have a bloody good memory,I can remember the faces of all of them.I also have a very keen appreciation of just how lucky I was.A great deal of that appreciation goes to the cops that you seem to like bagging out so much.Yeah, just like I did, happy now.

what duz a copper wagon do down the 1/4????
    that would be a laugh
I would rather be in my car than on a bike if I hit a patch of oil, or put a wheel on the whitelline in the wet. I compleltly agree bikes are faster, but that doesnt make it acceptable to do a runner.

Yip, think F3 lap record is 1.38 set by Andy Bolwell on a ZXR400, think the 125 record is 1.38.8 or something like that.
Think I use to do 1.50's on my ZXR400 :disapint:

Apparently there are several people here on KB that should not be allowed to ride on public roads...
