Most of the residents on that rd are knob jockeys. They believe that the rd is an extension of their personal driveway and putter along at a heady 40kmh holding up the show. Except for one dude who drives a XR6 turbo, when he sees a bike behind him he feeds it the jandal, and I tell you what he knows what he's doing, good on him.

Errr if you read properly, he was saying that about a decade ago (1994, the height of pot-smoking hippie-ness) the cop cars could beat the bikes.

Now what do you think has happened in the past few years that has suddenly made bikes so much faster than the cars? I suppose the car makers have just been sitting around not bothering with improvements in speed and handling

Err and when you get a slide when you are cranked over, what happens? When you lose control for a moment while thrashing it, what happens?
At least with cars you get another chance sometimes if you fuck up. Thats what I would call forgiving

yeh cars can be fast - but u have to be a real wanker to drive fast in them. Or did you not pass 5th form physics.
Evos are turboed bricks, you hit anything (or anyone) at 200k - they are dead. If anyone here thinks there car is sweet at that speed round corners they can suck my shit - its attidues like that, that kill other inocent people.
I ride a bike cos i know that if i fuck up at some rediculous speed im only gonna kill myself.
As for out running the cops - i know of a guy that used to live down paraparam, and he out ran the cops on a mountain bike down on the beach. So its not what you have got - its if you are dumb enough to try it.
ps : old is just as good as the new, you have to respect all bikes, otherwise you end up being a bike ricer

Yup, 180+kgs (what late model sportsbikes weigh when wet) at 200km/h is still gonna hurt, and make a decent size hole/impact in a car.

OMG, as people already said, a 180 kg sportbike @ 200kmh, or even 100Kmh will seriously damage a car and its occupants. Its not even worth talking to people like yourself, your attitudes are so strangely backward.

You are so full of bullshit, it's a wonder you can fit on a bike
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

What is he seasoned with? Whatever it is it smells like what the cats/dog roll around in when there is a female on heat

Shit i'm no angel, i have run from the cops before, even got caught runnning from the cops before, i must say i learnt my lesson there and then, i have done it since then, but i'm talking 3am deserted motorway kinda shit not 4pm in the arvo with school kids running around the show and traffic everywhere etc. There is no excuse for running and if i get caught i deserve everything coming to me and then some, judge me as you will, besides half the time when you pull over and stop for them you get off a shitload lighter, not always!

One thing i always keep in mind before people go slagging off how cops can't drive and shit like that, the HP boys oh n gals go through pretty extensive driver training and spend a fair bit of time at the track practicing driving skills and techniques, you'd have to be pretty daft to say a HP officer couldn't drive for shit, coz they sure can, i heard someone mention how safe is a car at 200km earlier, well how safe is a bike? HP cars aren't run of the mill standard commies with pretty blue n red lights and bright stickers slapped on them, last i heard they had an engine managment, suspension, exhaust and slightly tweaked brakes. They aren't all that slow and it's mostly the HP that i come into contact with and commom knowledge being a raido travels faster than what i ever will. They will eventully get ya one or another.

A bike is faster than a car in twistys?? There are more than a few cars out there more than capable of giving the learn to pretty much anyone on this site in the twistys, they will brake later and harder than a bike and will carry a lot more corner speed than a bike ever will, the only advantage a bike has is straightline speed, not always enough. Sure most cars dont have a shit show, but you'd have to be pretty on it to give it to a good driver behind a evo or wrx, they're freakin weapons on the road. And both a bike and car are just as dangerous in a corner, but if i could have the grip a car offered on a bike i wouldn't say no.
GSXR wiping the shit that is that Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki off the road since '85'
