Well here we go again. I've been away for 3 months and lookat this! 16 pages of thread caused by another go fast wanker, wanting to boast about his prowess. Since it was a few months ago, are you still out there, as in ALIVE? Perhaps you learn't that not all bikers think (or more accurately can't think) like you.
There's another born every minute...........![]()
Looks like the end of the thread is much more fun...nice words about Canterbury.......can't be a bad thing, and FANTASTIC for riding.....just like I did yesterday.
It's a hard road boy.......so try not to land on it.

I lived in Chch for a mere 26 munce (left in late '96), but we're planning to move back when the youngest finishes high school, so that'll be in about 3 years. If I can wait that long....Originally Posted by Ghost Lemur
We've been back a few times since leaving, mainly to go skiing.
There's a lot of rides still do do, as apart from Kaikoura to Chch, I've ridden only around Lyttleton Harbour, Port Hills, and the city itself.
The way the vifferbabe's talking, I reckon we'll do The Big Tour long before we move back though, so I reckon we may see a few more KBers this summer or next.![]()

wow... how easy it is to wind up the ignorant. I notice people are quick to judge without ever seeking the factual basis behind it.
While I admit to runners, and I admit to 3 disq, I'm interested to know what people think I did during/causing these outcomes?
And thank you to the person who was kind enough to give me the red mark... appreciate your feedback.

Have you ever considered that doing the runner and behaving like a pratt behind the wheel or on a bike shows a great lack of tolerance for the other road users that just want to get where they are going safely and without being menaced by some third and subsequent disqualified road criminal?Originally Posted by madboy
Why the hell should law abiding road users tolerate fuckwits doing the runner and endangering innocent lives and property? There is absolutely no reason to. The person doing the runner has usually commited an offence in order to want to run in the first place. This isn't always known to the cop, disqualified drivers, stolen vehicles etc, you often don't know until the person is stopped. Then when they do the runner they commit further offences, clearly demonstrating that they have a total disregard for the law and the safety of others.
The NZ public and the police should not show any tolearance at all for this outright nuisance behaviour. The people engaging in this practice should be banned from driving for life and forfeit whatever vehicles they possess to the state.
Act like adults? This thread aside, your own actions, described by yourself are far from "adult" behaviour. Even your daughter can see that!
I guess its a good thing you work in insurance and can jack up your own policies because normally a 3rd & subsequent disqualified driver would be paying in blood for insurance cover.
No, it wasn't me that gave you the bad rep point but after reading your most recent post in this thread I was promted to read your previous posts and I can understand why you received it.
Man i have been out riding a lot so havnt wasted to much time on the PC,
i get the feeling there are mixed feelings on the subject???![]()
well seem to be some good points both ways i feel much calmer now after so many trips out on the bikes, so i'll say that for those that push the point of public safty i fully see your point ...i have a wife and 2 kids of my own and so help me god i would slit any mother fuckers neck that hurt them, but im not going to start hunting down and killing people just coz 1 day it MIGHT happn.
at the end of the day thats life. As(look a cap and full stop just for hitcher) for my actions i aint going to try 300kph dwn columbo street on a friday night to avoid a chat wif the coppers but givn the right time and placeCya im gone, and hay as many of you in your deludedness(is that a word?) think perhaps one day some copper in a car will catch me
(dont think so) but thats my opinion, as the first page of the site says "a site for all new zealand motorcyclists" and as most of you are so "mature" you will just accept it...or not for all the abuse and PM's in the world i aint going to change just coz some self rightious dick head on here said so, as for people that have info or similar experiances...bring it on. the abuse was ok to you can keep it coming

Okay then, fuck you Aaron, yeah you heard me!
J/K bro, how was the ride up to Picton? We need to catch up, go out for a friggin ride.
I have no doubt that you, R1, may be fully capable of eluding every Mario Andretti cop in this country and probably safely too?! I have had a few cream me, leaving me in their dust as well. In the old days when I rode a "high perfomance BMW R80 Patrol bike"I had a Bimota pull away that much that he turned around and came back toward me waving knowing full well I didnt have a shit show in Hell of catching him. We both had a good laugh I suspect.
The real problem arises tho when some jumped up know it all, bulletproof, rookie kid hears these stories and thinks, " I can do that, piece of piss" He neither has the common sense nor experiance to know when to back off and give it up. This is when we have disasters.
I have come across heaps more of this type of rider!
Obviously you realise the risks involved and are prepared to live with any outcome. Your choice.
I can also put one bullet in a 38 revolver, point it at my head and keep pulling the trigger, spin the mag, pull again, might not fire for a long time. Probably will sometime tho.![]()
Its just my opinion.
"Now lets be carefull out there"![]()
Well interesting seems we have some saints out there. It seems speed is bad and the govt/dept transport whatever has done a great job brainwashing us the public but what are the figures i.e fast sport bike deaths, where are the accidents occuring, what age groups, type of road, what did they hit etc?.Now it seems to me that speed is a factor but it is not the main factor in head on smashes which seem to be causing many of the fatalites in NZ.The point been that you can do 6000 kph on your side of the road and the other rider/driver can do the same on their side with no problem. But with both in the same lane traveling towards each other then there is a prob. The main prob is bad riding/driving then factor in some speed for extra damage. The funny thing is this the govt are pushing this speed thing pretty hard but have done nothing about the sale of vehicles that can break the speed limit ie suzuki jimmy 1.3l capable of 120kph etc etc.I am getting some crossed purposes here and then there are the police piggy in the middle having to follow a perverted policy.Sure you look kind of dumb when you follow the rest of the lemmings off the cliff....cause we are all saints all the time in all the ways.Lets rename this site Kiwi Saint Bikers.
