Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

you got it... they should split the site saints(old people, coppers, chicks) one side and sinners(good riders, not cops, and young people) the other, then when you sign up you can pick a side and there would be world peace......well a lot less winjing

We both had a good laugh I suspect.

The real problem arises tho when some jumped up know it all, bulletproof, rookie kid hears these stories and thinks, " I can do that, piece of piss" He neither has the common sense nor experiance to know when to back off and give it up. This is when we have disasters.

I have come across heaps more of this type of rider!

Obviously you realise the risks involved and are prepared to live with any outcome. Your choice.

I can also put one bullet in a 38 revolver, point it at my head and keep pulling the trigger, spin the mag, pull again, might not fire for a long time. Probably will sometime tho.
    Its just my opinion.

"Now lets be carefull out there"
Thats the best reply yet... you have actualy opened my eyes....i never thought of the young impresionable(how the hell do ya spell that) that may think he can get away with it as well....so all you that think you can get away with it think very long and hard b4 ya try...well not to long or mr/miss plod could already have ya

Yeah and you're a perfect example of humanity yourself. We're all different.

The one thing everybody here, on both sides of the argument is missing is that not everyone on the road drives/rides with the same level of committment to improving their own vehicle control skills as some of the people on Kiwi Biker do.

Even then you factor in random acts of God and P, and you are not going to get away with it all the the time. Why run from a cop at warp factor 9, putting yourself at risk, and the "average" driver who just crossed the centre line around that blind corner just ahead YOU know you can take at 210 easily?

Is it because you and the others advocating doing a runner don't have the guts to face up to making a screw up and getting busted? You know: Personal responsibility. The mentality behind doing a runner is twisted at best, and not because "Saint" Jim says so. One rule for the bullet proof young uns and another for the battered oldies seems to be the point you're trying to make. Irrespective of the fact that most of the old bastards on here take a while to warm up in the morning because their battered hardware is frozen up again.

All we're trying to do is let you know that you can't get away with a "Fuck you I'm bulletproof" attitude forever. We know because we didn't. If you ignore us, don't expect a friendly pat on the head, and a "there, there, it'll be alright in the morning", because it won't be.

Most of the vehicles we ride and drive are capable of being driven safely at far greater speeds than they are. We don't take driving and riding seriously in NZ. It isn't taught in a serious fashion, and there's no obligation to increase you skills or knowledge as time goes by.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

I hope it does - debate is healthy. Entrenched attitudes are what kill a great number of people in NZ on the roads every year.

    Btw - I didn't know Kawasaki made a ZZR100.

This has been one of the more interesting threads to follow. It is funny how - the old guys are the ones kicking up the stink. These are the people in the same age bracket of my old man. I remember great stories about his driving escapades. Driving Drunk, over loading cars, driving home with lights off etc. Funny how it was okay for them to do it? It is also funny how these same people can justify their 'sins' and denouce others for admitting theirs. At the end of the day - it is illegal to speed whether it is 120kph or 320kph.....

I ask you - is 60-65kph in a residential area - worse or better than 200kph on a rural empty back road?

I see enough idiots on this planet who can't control their vehicles at near pedestrian speeds. Plus - stats show that over 50% of all accidents happen at intersections anyway and only country people die on country roads!

Fuck I am never going to call Aaron stupid - my exploits are hardly private.....all I say is choose your time and place - and take your medicine like a man when/if it gets dispensed.

Yes, running from a cop is stupid, aside from it being illegal, but most of us have done something illegal at some time or another in our lives and gotten away with it. I won't comment on whether I have done it or not, or whether I will in the future.

Meh - each to their own - I just think - those in glass houses.

at the end of the day thats life.

place Cya im gone, and hay as many of you in your deludedness(is that a word?) think perhaps one day some copper in a car will catch me (dont think so) but thats my opinion,

Sort of a bit of a contradiction there Aaron. One the one hand you say you have a wife and kids you would kill for, if anyone hurt them. The next thing you say is you are prepared not only to hurt them, but possibley other people as well. Remember, its not just your judgement that comes into play, but that of anyone else on the road.

Yeah yeah - as I said on the other thread - never left just observed. Kinda comforting to know that the same idiots still post the same shite - as you are probably painfully aware

Ride hard A......I think I saw you out the other day - I was on a Daytona 6 at KGB lights going south
