ZX14 To buy or not to buy

I recently wrote off my 05 vtr and am looking to upgrade.
I quite like the ZX14, and would like some feedback good or bad as i have one in my sights.
I have been for a ride or three on a few but want to hear from someone who has one.
    Cheers

I had one for about a year and it was one of the best bikes I ever owned, it has it all, power performance and looks as well as comfort, I cannot fault this bike, and god knows Ive had a few !

Go buy one, but only if your head is together to be responsible enough as its a very fast bike.
Ive run out of fucks to give

sold it last year mate, not interested in speed and power on the road now, like the quiet cruising in the back blocks on my KLR mate.

    You what?
Safe to assume you came away relatively unscathed then?

Time for something a bit more distance oriented?

Absolutely superb road and sports/touring bike IMO.
We've had ours for 10ish months and although we've only done 24,000kms on it we love it. It's the first bike that I haven't wanted to update in 12weeks...serious
Unit commutes to Whangarei(400kms) on it with ease as did I when I was working up there too...a real mile muncher.
Highly recommend going for a -1 tooth sprocket up front as 1st gear on them is huge(185kmph).
I have drag raced it and it has also been track day'd and it did both very well IMO.
Apart from changing the front sprocket I have also removed the secondary butterflies,1/5 turn throttle mod,DNA filter,PC3 and a pair of Two Bro's cans

Yep, buy it. I was sorely tempted in buying Barbenders ZX14 when he had it for sale. It's probably the only other bike I considered over my GSX1400.
I found it handled well and was reasonably comfortable but I like my GSX1400 more for comfort. If you want heaps of grunt, high top speeds, good braking and like popping wheelies, then yeah, go for one.

I have a full review, search my posts.

I can vouch for the 185kmh in first off the limiter
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.
