Complete bastards.... I'll keep an eye out, although not much chance of recovering.

They either followed you home or had seen them outside when cleaning etc.

And Howick used to be such a nice quiet little backwater. (The Grub was born in Baird St) I blame Te Irirangi Dr.

I do hope that you rang the local plod CIB and put those conversations on record, naming names? When they do go (and they will) they might be able to intercept them before he gets rid of them. That'll be your only chance of getting them back.

Having been a victim I can empathise with the feelings you must have.
How to get over those feelings is something I have been unable to do. We are totally indoctrinated into that revenge mentality and become consumed with desire to find those responsible and do very bad things to them. Problem is: how do you find them? That feeling of helplessness is so hard to overcome. I guess I should have paid the dough and got insurance and then I would have possibly gained some level of satisfaction, compensation, recompense by getting replacements. New is good.
When you don't get that opportunity...it sucks.
    I feel for you Brother.

That is absolutely disgraceful. I was going to say "unbelievable" but unfortunately my opinion of Auckland (south Auckland in particular) means that that would not be the right word to use at all. Really feel for you and the kids; and while hopes of recovery might be slim I too will be hoping for your sake that the low life pricks get caught and your gear returned intact.

I am very sorry to hear this mate, it is a very sad reflection on our society when you feel you have to live in a fortress to prevent some arsehole stealing your stuff!

When I lived there we still had the concrete strip of the Pioneer Highway visible down Picton St. Them were the days...LOL

Disgusting state of affairs. How are your kids handling it? Cos they are the biggest victims here (just ask Frosty)
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Man this is just happening too much, and there is quite a few that have reported it happening just in this dirt section of Kiwi Biker and with our small amount of contributers I can imagine that the problem is very very wide spread. I hear of other instances of this happening all too frequently. Everyone be careful and make it as difficult as possible for these scum. Unfortunetley I don't believe this of any real concern to the constabulary!

All thieves are the scum of the earth! All the best with the finger-printing, not that I put much faith in that....

Sounds like it is time to install security cameras everywhere! This is way beyond it.

You and your family have my sympathy, mate!
