    It is going to be a bloody shit fight next year when the Honda and Kawak come out...feck.....Honda aiming for 1hp/kg, Kwak with their first true thou sports bike.....what is it going to come to.....my god.....bring it on

    hmm, those top speeds and 1/4 mile times seem a bit off the pace. 255km out of an R1?? my '97 ZX-6 did 250 at Puke first time down the straight. Also, i know people have done 10.97 1/4's on the same model so perhaps the riders doing the testing weren;t particularly classy.

    I agree with next year being exciting. new Mille R and Mille Factory coming out too! mmm... new kwaka... *dribbles*

    Yeah some of those times seem a little dodgy.  I find it hard to believe that my old 97 TL1000s which I did 11.5@122mph at Mere outperforms half those bikes on the 1/4 including an R1.  In fact I remember a guy on his '01 GSXR750 doing 10.97s too on the same night.
