ok peps, i'll post the datails of the meet in the FIRST POST in this thread so keep an eye for the updates

i have yet to figure if it's possible to send a pm to everyone at once, so if you know how to do that, explain it to me, i wasnt able to find any instructions on that

the ride is tentatively named Blast to the Past Ride (BTPR), let me know if you can think of something more original ( i couldnt )

WHEN: Saturday, 28th June '08 (in case of a really bad weather, alternative date: Sat, 5th July '08)

TIME: 11am (it's winter...)

WHERE: to be anounced (most likely west or north akl, still looking into it)

ROUTE: to be anounced (most likely the backroads of the west/north akl)

DURATION: to be anounced (i'm thinking 2-3 hrs should be good for a first meet)

WEATHER: In case of heavy rain forecast the ride will be postponed for a week. I'll post the details of any change here a couple of hours before the ride so everyone is up-dated.



if you have a bike from the mid-'70s to mid-'80s we'd like to hear from you

the idea is to have an occassional get-together of the bikes from the era and go for a ride, etc


if this is not you but you know someone who might be interested please help us get in touch

if you know of something like this already going on in auckland please let us know
