    Nice.

    Thanks for directing me here.

    Well written.

I am single dad. 4 years ago I crashed on the beach. No helmet, jeans an T-shirt... Ended up in hospital with 7 broken ribs on left side and punctured lunge. When they took out the hose that sucked the crap outta the lunge 1 1/2 week later I walked out. Not because I wanted to, but because I had to. My boys needed me.

The risk is always there. What I learnt (after that) is that even if I was bulletproof when younger, I am not anymore.

And with the boys relying on me, I can not put my self in stupid situations.

So things have had to change. Also reason I do not ride solo speedway anymore.

    But to give up fully???

    Nope.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

I'm 27, I enjoy biking, I have never broken a bone worth mentioning - still I take my chances, I'm not overly anxious, I don't worry too much about what happens, I have a desire to live.

I don't fool myself into thinking what I choose to do in life is anywhere less dangerous than it is. I don't pretend to be able to control all variables in these situation. I don't believe in god or an afterlife. I take it all as it comes.

I consider myself a thinking individual, still I do stupid, and enjoy it thoroughly.

My philosophy is: "Whatever happens happens, and not necessarily for any paticular good reason."

Have a nice weekend and please stay safe.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)
