Thanks Brent and Karen for your wonderful hospitality. Dawn and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend. It was great to meet and ride with a bunch of new people. Looking forward to the next one.

However, we have lodged a formal protest into the results of the scabble game!!!!!!!

Awesome weekend, thanks heaps guys and gals.

Special thanks to the hosts Karen and Brent.

PS. I wont mention the food, dont want anyone else to know how good it was or there may not be enough for me next time.

Thanks also to my scrabble partner Young 1, who managed to increase my vocabulary and teach me Russian at the same time.

    Bring on the next 1.

Look, if you don't like the house rules it's not our problem At least you'll know them next time & play to the rules!! (p.s. I'm the other half of the winning team)

This brings us to a more serious matter, that of the scorers honour namely Karen. And it's up to Brent to uphold her honour, Brent........

Thanks all for a great weekend. Bike is unscathed & I'm off to the BMWOR meeting to show them what a double hard adventure riding GS should look like!

Had a good blast back to clean off the tyres (love those annakees), plus I didn't have to worry about speed cameras as the number plate was 5mm thick in mud.

Learned lots about gravel riding, found out annakees don't like swampy paddocks, and that I'll definitely put my name in for the summer stunner 3 day event.

Yes, the scoring system......., amazing what a pre game hug will do.
The lady has impeccable credential's, and the highest level of honour, but Bailey's Irish Cream may have something to do with the final calculus.
And "a quick game is a good game" seems to work with slightly drunken m/cyclists. (I particularly like "nannasitter"), as a scrabble word. Thats what she was doing with you lot.
If ya got pic's, post em.

Pic 1 A very skilled man astride a very quick weapon.

Pic 2 This Beemer was two up, and looked fantastic cutting through the gravel. Your a freaking great pilot Phil.

Pic 4 Another shitty morning view from the bach veranda.

Thanx motoxnut for the kind words , and photo of Mr Gooster. First time Ive ridden with others on a group ride since I discovered the pleasures of gravel riding a few months ago, so no photos of me riding off the tar seal.
It was great to meet you , appreciated the way you led the "southerners" on the sat. and for yours and others comments and edvice for a newbie in this adventure scene..Cheers Dennis
