Certainly put it to good use on the 42nd Traverse!

Even if he left half of his pack on the trail.... supposedly he didnt know his gear had fallen out but me and Qkkid know the REAL truth.... Just used it as an excuse to do the trail again!

If your based in Hamilton, or close by, you could drop the tent etc at my place, and it could go out with the supply run the day before.

Scratching my head about that Mike. Maybe the nrth crew can self guide themselves to the Operau service stn on the kawhia hwy, and I will meet up with any eastern/southern crew somewhere.
There are some really nice gravel roads sth of Kawhia that are worth riding. I do some thinking, (but it really hurts).........

Hi Phil, welcome to the site.
The bach is about 4km from downtown Kawhia. I know there is a campground there, but havn't got any other details on it.
There is bound to be a few w/end renters around also. (try the local real estate boys, they normally know whats what).
I would be interested to hear whats available, as these Kawhia rides are growing bigger each time. (nothing to do with me, it's all about Kanny's cooking)
