Shite Duncan - those forest pics are awesome - I gotta get me some of that

Thanks also for the blast on you Beemer Dunc - love that seat and the steady handling - makes the DT feel like a roller skate by comparison. BTW DT runs much better since you 'decarboned' it

I can highly recommend the accommodation at chateau young1 - the beer is cold and the pizza is hot - what else is there.... Thanks Mike for putting with me - I enjoyed my stay.

Puriora could be a good run in the summer, Winter = Sloppy mess off the road, Quad bike and winch material! Or........ Clints cruiser to tow the bikes up the hills, and along the flats.... Great tracks....

Thanks for a great weekend guys had a blast, So glad I stayed for the full second day amazing back roads and views.
I was absolutely knackered after chasing the tiger all the way back to auckland but could n't catch it next time!!!

I forgot the best photo of the lot, the pub at Waitomo with some of the bikes outside, a good lunch stop.

If you look carefully you can see the old folk doing a runner - they have heard too many stories about bikers!
