He may have finished 21st and out of the points but everyone will sure know who he is now...their ears probably still hurt.

    A race report from TWMX

In the Motocross class it was none other than Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki's Mike Alessi who snagged the holeshot over Monster Energy/Kawasaki's James Stewart and Red Bull Honda's Davi Millsaps. Only half of a lap into the moto, Stewart wasted no time as he made his way around Alessi for the lead. A hard charging Alessi would do his best to pressure Bubba, and it worked as James made a mistake that put him back to fifth place. The number seven machine was quick to retaliate, however, and quickly sliced his way around Andrew Short and Millsaps. Next on the list for Stewart was Alessi, and by the time the riders reached lap seven, Stewart found his way around Alessi and began to check out. Behind the top-two riders, Millsaps and Short were in a battle of their own. Shorty was able to move around Davi to take over third place. After losing a spot to Short, Millsaps tipped over in a corner, which allowed Australian native, Cody Cooper, to take over the fourth spot. Behind the leaders, Stewart's teammate, Tim Ferry, was working his way up through the pack after suffering poor start and had made his way up to ninth place just after the halfway point. At the conclusion of the first Motocross class moto, it was Stewart, Alessi, Short, Cooper, Millsaps, and Ivan Tedesco.
