    Sounds OK to me Mike.
Hey Clint, I rode the scrambler down to the "hot pools" below the Tarawera pub.
I might give them a miss mate. A bit dodgy to say the least.

Sounds good to me to, lots of time to meander our way down that way.

Jeez, that ain't dodgy, ya can see the bottom which is more than I can say for a lot of the hot pools I've been in. Amoebic Meningitis is a risk at all natural hot pools where the water is in contact with the ground, keep the head above water & there's no problem. Even if you do go diving under I've been told the the chances of getting it are about the same as winning lotto. A trip including an overnight stop at the Tarawera pub should be on the cards I reckon.

    Cheers
    Clint

Just been talking to Malcolm at Journey's End Station, there are 20 mattresses in the shearer's quarters so there'll be one for everybody on the Saturday night, no need to bring a camp mat, just pack your sleeping bag.

    Cheers

Put a plastic liner on Ian's one. I plan on putting his fingers in bowls of warm water through the night

Hey, I heard that, you can sleep outside.

In all seriousness, are there that many coming? We'll have to run this in stages or suffer from traffic jams....maybe break into a couple of groups to keep the riding manageable?

    Bags be in front!

I retired from that role and am letting Triboy & Motu do all of those now....

Obviously there is going to be a bit of "discussion" about who gets to go first???

Weather update. Looking pretty good, but probably cold and a bit breezy.
High coming across the tasman should provide reasonable conditions........maybe.

Cabin accomodation I presume, do they do meals (evening or breakfast)?
