My accident 2 weeks ago I had no where to go. A guy coming he other direction didn't see me (White Blue Suzuki with the lights on at 8 in the morning) cut across to get into a drive way. - No where to go as there where cars behind him still coming in my direction and I the other option is to jump the kerb into a power poll.
Actually, if you were considering repeating the performance at 10-second intervals for half an hour, they'd help immensely - braided lines help brakes not to fade as the fluid heats up.
Bummer about the crash, though - I've done about the same thing myself (on an FXR150, which also apparently didn't need braided lines).
I take it you had nowhere to swerve to...? Maybe the thing to take away from this one is, always look to steer into a gap rather than try to stop in a straight line, whenever possible.
You don't have much time to choose which way to go, I still wonder if I should have gone another direction.
I hope you are part Wolverine and heal quickly.
