So you could say the Tide turned?

Is it because the bike is called "Er"? Is that like having a bike called "Doh"?

Just joking, glad you are ok. Love those bikes, be more careful with them ok!

Very bad news Deon. I feel for you.
I believe roads aren't as soft as they used to be.
All the best for your recovery.

no cast... just a sling and heal on its own yeah pics don't do justice for depth of colour. and infections look more impressive.

Pretty colours! Any wonder it is sore mate, lucky it is only a crack, having your elbow in plaster stops you from doing all sorts of things

    Tide

Came across this late. Just as sorry to read it as if I'd read it at the time though. It were a nice bike.

I trust the worst is over now and that it's onward and upward...

Bummer about the crash, though - I've done about the same thing myself (on an FXR150, which also apparently didn't need braided lines).

I take it you had nowhere to swerve to...? Maybe the thing to take away from this one is, always look to steer into a gap rather than try to stop in a straight line, whenever possible.
My accident 2 weeks ago I had no where to go. A guy coming he other direction didn't see me (White Blue Suzuki with the lights on at 8 in the morning) cut across to get into a drive way. - No where to go as there where cars behind him still coming in my direction and I the other option is to jump the kerb into a power poll.

You don't have much time to choose which way to go, I still wonder if I should have gone another direction.

I hope you are part Wolverine and heal quickly.
