Depends where I am working each day, but anywhere between 50 and 130Km each way. More than that, I go by plane.

35ks each way from Akatarawa to Wellington and back everyday. Have ditched taking the cage in due to traffic (35 minutes each way on the bike or an hour plus in the car), fuel (nasty price) and easier to get round in the city.

Edit: Well I really screwed that one up its actually 50Ks each way, Doh! I checked today.

    On a bad day, 20km.

    On a better day... 50km.

On a superb day, about 250km!

On an absolutely disgustingly brilliant day, about 600km (Work pays me to do the Coro Loop!)

Between 80-90 kms return, depending on whether I take Paremata Road, or Grays Road.

I commute from Wallaceville, Upper Hutt, down River Road (SH2), up Haywards (SH58), Paremata Rd (or Grays Rd) to SH1 at Paremata, then down the motorway to Tawa.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

About 2 minutes on the treadle.

I cry a little each morning when I dont get to ride the Kat. I really wish I didnt move house.

The petrol savings dont get saved either. My liver just hates me little more each week.

I usually travel about 100km to get into Uni and back, with about 90km of that being open road + motorway. Sucks on a 250, fill up with petrol everyday 3rd morning
