    Small bike vs Xmas Ham

Check this out.. I had a bit of a dilemma at work yesterday. I thought I had been overlooked for the Xmas ham at work, everybody else had got one except for me and this other dude Carl. So I was caught unawares and it was the last day of work, when in my lap was placed a fine looking piece of meat (not a lady), so I had to figure out somehow to get this 3.9kg Xmas ham home. I stood looking at my motorcycle for a while...

I tried tucking it under my jacket, but to no avail. So then I looked at the motorbike for a little while longer...

and then I decided, I might as well have a try at fitting it in the storage compartment on my bike, wasn't particularly hopeful though.
So after removing all my tools, and applying reasonable force, in it popped, to my disbelief.

And... with a bit more reasonable force, I managed to shut the seat down on top of it, and then I filled all my pockets up with my tools which were strewn all over the ground, and proceeded on my perilous journey through Auckland's traffic.

So don't give up on your storage compartment, it's quite impressive what you can cram in there with a bit of elbow grease and determination.

Oh, and Merry Christmas to all, I hope Santa showers you all with fine gifts that go beyond the normal socks and undies. Cheers.

Hehe, yeah what is the deal with that decal, there's nothing super response about it, you have to chop it down about 3 gears when cruising to get any acceleration. I suppose its bloody good off the mark though.

I'll have to have a go at that.

Vtec, be warned, never accidenatly screw off the idle adjuster on your CBR as I did the other day. I'll post the pics of the CBRs internals and what I had to remove to get it screwed back on when I get my film processed

I've got a Suzuki Across, where the whole front 'gas tank' is a storage locker. I can easily fit a helmet, map book and wet weather overpants in there, so I think a measily 3.9kg ham would fit in there no problem.

Now the 5kg ham on the bone that my flatmate got from his work might have been a challenge.

Sweet, I don't think I've ever seen another NZ Across rider on here. I've seen another red on parked in the City, and said gidday to a guy on a silver one at some traffic lights when I was crossing the road once.

    Go the Across
