On the same topic here.. if anyone wants a bike friendly place in Dunedin, then two thumbs up to the Leviathan on the main drag They 'hid' my bike in a shed out the back and then put a big dumpster in front of the door.

West Auckland Pride! I'd pretty keen to join you if you're looking for others to come with.. there's a pretty solid group of 250 riders on KB who are absolutely mental about rideing anything, anywhere. I have a 250 Coro loop ride on this Sunday if you want to join us. It'd be good to ride with another 250 cruiser.

But yeah, motels will usually sort you out pretty well. One place in Kaitaia I think it was opened up their Marae for us. I'm sure we offended a god or two but it was wicked fun. (Pic below)

Woe to You Oh Earth and Sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
    Let him who hath understanding
Reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty six.

Yes, listen to Nagash. There is always some place to tuck in a bike at backpackers is you ask politely.
