V4 1200cc V-Tec Blackbird replacement?

Personally, I think Honda has given up on the Firestorm, VFR and Blackbird and won't replace them.

Honda hasn't done anything really innovative for quite a while. Most of their likely new bikes would have been flagged at international bike expos. I reckon it's unlikely that a radical new 'bird is likely to appear out of nowhere into general release between now and September.

Honda are also dropping the Hornet.

Got to wonder what they are up to with dealers dropping them too. Boyd Honda in Hamiltion is not the only dealer, moving onto a new brand.

Thing about Bluewing is that they are not "family". Honda don't own Bluewing so Bw is outside the normal Honda loop. If something new was about to happen they'd probably be far from first to know about it...

They're dropping the Hornet name, but there is an all-new replacement for it that's already out; the CB1000R. It's just not in New Zealand yet, 'cos Blue Wing are useless theiving cunts (second time I've said that tonight!)

Honda have some interesting concepts which may or may not make it to production: the bastard son of a Goldwing EVO6, the retro sports CB1100R, and the butt-ugly retro CB1100F.

Eh? Get off the grass! Now that should've been the Hornet successor. Much more in the spirit of the original. New `Hornet' (which it ain't) is all ugly, brutish, ogre-like.
