Do you get hair on your palms as well? Hows the eyesight? One forearm slightly bigger than the other? I really don't want to know....

You probably mean getting a 1/5 throttle. 1/4 is standard on most bikes.

I built up the opening ramp on my SV's throttle with some quick setting araldite to give me a 1/5 action. I was like giving the bike another 30hp You very quickly get used to the smaller amount of input needed... no more wing flapping!

What you say is completely correct, it concerns me that anyone would think any differently... the throttle is a tube, that turns x degrees... no matter where it sits on the bar, it still turns the same amount... If your eyes were closed, you wouldn't be able to tell where it was (because it doesn't matter).

1/5th I think... 1/4 is generally standard on bikes. My RGV has a 1/6th, it's awesome... 1/5th should be great for any roadbike, but definitely go as far as a 1/6th for a small cc bike (like the RGV). Cost me $0, best mod I've done on anything!
