I have followed all of you threads about your bike before it was stolen and I think that this is awesome! Great job! I am really keen for a 1/4 turn throttle. A PM would be great :]

You can get quarter turn throttles from most bike shops (Call in and see me at Mt Eden M/C ... can help you out ). They start off pretty cheap ($30 odd if I remember for the cheapies). But you'd be better off getting the slighty more expensive ones with the metal inner puller thingy (lol I really should know what thats called... *makes mental note to find out*)

Depending on which one you get you might need to get a new switchblock for the throttle side as some take some room and yeah...

    Looking pretty sweet.

If i was going to be picky i'd say you need to shorten the exhaust to about 2/3 what it is now - it just looks way to long.

Also with it being 'empty' at the front it makes the bike seem biased to the rear somewhat. It'd makes it much more of a 'fighter if the tail section was angled up a good 10-15deg to make it look a tad more angry.

Otherwise I like it. Very well done, and looks pretty professional too. Saw you in at Mt Eden MC the other week but you were busy and I had to get on my way.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Thanks for the honest remarks... Yeah I thought about cutting down the pipe, but figured it was something that could wait... Still considering it though

Also thought about the tail section, but again, a LOT of work... subframe modifications, tail sections arnt cheap either and not a huge range available here, and anything from overseas is barely worth the money for the what the bike is at the end of the day.

Its been so much work so far, the next one will be better and bigger lol

I've looked into the 1/4 turn throttle thing, and there is only one that will fit the ZXR (as the ZXR has two throttle cables... and most of them are made for just one). Its not the same as mine, I can't seem to find the supplier for mine or the brand for that matter.

Anyway, the 1/4 turn throttle is about $149, and the adjuster screw is another $5. So about $155 all up not including installation. Also you might need to modify or have custom cables made as I'm not sure if the standard cables will just plug right in (mine arn't standard... again can't find the supplier/brand).

    If your keen PM me

so how far away till this beast is on the road?

i may have to pop in and see you again.... as im around and about bike shopping!
I've learnt to hide the pain inside, open the throttle and ride away.
