    Smile NInja 250r 08 - Just got

I'm stoked, just picked up my 1st bike the 2008 ninja 250r in green.

Its stunning, and really nice to ride all though its the only bike I have ridden.

Ill attach some photos soon =).

So happy, got insurance through John Baker insurance and he was really awesome, gave me a discount for being Kiwi biker

Cant wait to learn how to ride it properly.

sweet enjoy the new toy and ride safe.

Just a quick question for you: buying a brand new 250 sports bike like you just have, what was the deciding factor that made you buy the kawasaki Ninja over the equally priced hyusong GTr? did you take them both for a test ride?
    Come on, Toshi, come on!

I'm interested in the answer to that too, have a mate in the same situation, I used to have the Hyo GT250R myself, was an awesome little bike. The Kawa looks superb, but seems a little underspecced for the price, i.e. only one front disc, narrower tyres etc.. is the frame smaller than the Hyo?

Didint test ride either, watched about 10 video's on both. And reading these forums but tbh I just had a soft spot for the little Ninja - in turtle green

Few friends have the hyo's and its alot more expensive. 24 Month warranty over hyo's 12. It is however smaller then the Hyo which is good for me as I am only 173cm and about 76kg.

However it does have smaller tyres then the hyo but not having ridden anything other then a GN125 it feels like a Ferrari.

Good on yer, looking at it wouldve been too small for me at 6'5" 105KG, (Probably why I needed the extra disc!). But awesome looking bike and its a Kawasaki.. good choice..

Nice choice! It's an awesome looking bike, I'd be pretty keen to have one if I had the funds. I still love my Gn though

Give us more about the bike!

Honestly you are the most experienced Ninja 250R Rider on KB (I think)

    So? lol

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Nice! Looking forward to the pics and reviews. I owned a Hyosung. Was very happy, but the Ninja might have persuaded me if it was around.

just dont crash it and ruin the paint job

My choice is what I choose to do,
And if I'm causing no harm, it shouldn't bother you.
