My First Bike Fire... I Was Stoopid

Ahhh yes,TR6R,cooked rectifier,jump start off tractor,much smoke,many flames,panic,melting plastic,burnt hands,more flames,way more panic,bloody heaps more flames,even more burning plastic,smell of burning flesh,MY bloody flesh,pain,PANIC PANIC PANIC,saviour with fire hose,embarrasment,shame,vist med' center,hysterical laughter from so called mates.

Well i was up at my uncle's and was riding round on this little honda 70cc dump thing and it was all going well and good and was hooning roudn the paddocks and falling off and all and then i took my cousins round on front and that was all well and good. but then i came up a hill and it started revving its nuts off so i took my cousin off and looked down and the damn thing was rattling and smoking everywhere and the throttle was off and im thinking fuck what do i do.
so i turn off the fuel tap, first option, all the while trying to unjam this throttle or whatever it was. and then i thought, oh i might just be smart and pull the damn fuel line in half. that will stop any fuel going to the engine. (this is my logic as something sounds like its about to pop underneath me)
I knew as soon as i did this that i had done something dumb.
theres fuel going everywhere and i think, fuck, i better do something or its gonna light up, so i pit my hand back down to put the line back together and as i did it lit up, everyone ran away and i jumped away onto the grass trying to put the fire out on my arm. my uncle came running out with a hose and put it out so its all good but i feel like such a dumbass.
I now know what to do though, put it into its highest gear and stall it. cover the carborreter(SP?) and starve it of oxygen, or hit the kill switch of which there wasnt one.
It was all a good laugh afterwards it was only a fifty dollar bike but just as well it happened then and not in my garage with a 250.
anyone else done somethign as stupid as this before?

100cc 2 stroke jammed on full throttle, so we decided to park it and see haw long it would go for. Eventually the piston had enough and it died
