OK yungatart I'll bite, what was so exciting about this first BFTP ride you guys went on?
Maha, "special hospital" Ever been to Spookers? A large part of it's appeal and intrigue comes from the fact that it was a "special hospitat"
Was thinking it might've been The Mission Estate, went there for lunch late last year, awesome food, great wine and what a fantastic place to stay, if only I had enough! money to not have to worry about it.
When you find that web site mate let us know aye, sounds like another possible BFTP ride destination.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

I see Maha has beaten me to it!
The Pukeora Estate was a TB sanitorium in its day, followed by a rehab unit for people with head injuries.

Mission Estate is lovely, but my favourite winery would have to be Sacred Hill, just beautiful!

Yeah I was thinking of that place for a National KB rally, something like what Lissa had a go at organising a couple of years ago.
Might put my thinking cap on and investigate further.
'rehab unit for people with head injuries'.....sound perfect!....

Solly for poking my nose in here, im not BFTPer, just wanted to ask a question.
