Harleys don't corner as well as sprotbikes

...there I said it. Went through the Langs ..Waipu road today and to be honest it was very sucky indeed.

But hey....it seems Harleys corner better than Kawasakis

I chased a harley and a buell (obviously riding together) up through Rotoma and caught them up at the lollypop man at the roadworks just before the "rotomas" (famous bendy section of road.)

I sat hard on their arse (not hard) half way down the mountain before the harley rider waved me on, and I set off after the buell. I catch him up on the fly hill and blow him off and tuck everything in behind the fairing for a 45 second full-power run, and FUCK ME at the end of the straight this harley is hard up mr arse. It couldn't corner but on the straights it could hoof it. Much respect!

I think it's impressive that you managed to do that without having to stop!

I have had no trouble getting my Harley around corners it can keep up with any sport bike through the twisties, the only limiting factor is my inability to ride well.
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

    Noice thread Ducky!

Your tractor corners far better than that poor chick we saw at Waipu.

Following on from the DB school of u-turns in neutral she attempted the take off and then select neutral while heeled over in a u-turn, how she never dropped it is beyond me. But to see her literally tip toeing around one of those corners with a look of sheer terror on her face made me cringe.

That is no road for a noob with no road experience. You zoomed by comparison
