    GSX750F riding position?

    I'm looking at possibly getting a GSX750F.

I was wondering if anyone can give me a comparison of the riding position to, for example, a GSXR?

Would the GSX be more upright, and substantially less sporty, or would it be more or less the same?

    Thanks in advance...

Sports tourer vs sports .. there is a marked difference.

The GSXF has a comfortable, not leaning of the hands, slightly more upright sitting position to the GSXR.

Mind you the other bike I have ridden is the CBR600 which is a total sports lean forward and feel like you are falling over the handlebars type of jobby.

The F is much more upright though a guy here at work still had handlebar rises made to make it more upright.

(At least you didn't call it a Katana).

Ironic that the next couple of lines of that little rhyme suit you so well...

The riding position is somewhere between the meerkat and the alligator.

    Thanks for the replies.

You guys have all convinced me its not the one... I enjoyed the sporty position of the 'ol FZR, so I think I'm gonna keep searching...

the gsx750f was a great bike to ride, could easily ride it all day, and had a complete instrument cluster, and it went well, but quite different from the gsxr id think

Why dont you go sit on one for yourself mate ?
if you want something more sporty/low down ,but like the katana, then try out a 600 (the position of the bars on the 600 is lower than the 750's) and they are pretty much completly convertable to GSXR parts once you want USD's etc
