They are cool, where do you find these pics.
The art of being wise is knowing what to overlook.
That pierced one looks cool and the vmaxthat one the show here had a headlight very similar to the first one...
why are simpson helmets not allowed on the road???? they've saved more than one drag-racer and they do a tad more than 300ks

These were from some bike show in Europe called Fighterama.

Fighterama bike show
Now ya got the few grey cells in my brain stirring away here.
a well done fightered viffer would be shit loads of fun to ride.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
bit of inspiration for my zxr! Its not gonna be anywhere near as cool as those, but its naked with a cutdown front fairing, chrome indicators and neons...
if only i was rich

where opinion holds more weight than fact.
It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
The hole you look out doesn't meet DOT or Snell or CE standards for motorcycle helmets. Having owned a Simpson Bandit and tried wearing it on a bike, I have to say that aerodynamically it is a bit of a liability. Lots of lift and susceptible to crosswinds.Originally Posted by Blakamin

You still chasing that one on Trade Me? looks great as it is!Originally Posted by XJ/FROSTY

Ever since I dropped my bike (twice) and stuffed up the righthand fairing, I've been toying with the idea of stripping the whole from fairing assembly off and going streetfighter -- But I am not sure an Across has the sexy underbelly required to pull it off. Nor do I have the time, facilities or tools -- but still.
I wonder if you can street figher a D1 bantam ?

Certainly a lot of work gone into them.
the whole streetfighter scene is massive in europe, fighterama is in Germany, but the Uk has the streetfighters magazine show, usually in sheffield, but moving this year to coventry.
I worked for a firm called aggression performance engineering over there, building 'fighters, and ANYTHING can be fightered, its just a case of rippin all the junk off and then sittin down with your drug of choice and starin at the thing til inspiration comes to ya, ie where the hell do I put that radiator? and other such problems.
there is a specialised streetfighter mag over there www.streetfightersmag.com
it is the best for nekkid bikes and the odd unclothed human also appears !!.
It has got to the stage where silly money is bein thrown at bikes purely to win shows, but it is still possible to do stuff on the cheap, its just down to imagination.
As far as simpson helmets go, they do now do a bandit which is street legal in europe to ece 22-05 they have made the aperture wider, so they dont look quite as good, but there are many cool fighter lids available that are legal
