If it's not how you spell your name, why bother? I am amazed at times by commercial businesses who have different names for their business and web site. And have then squandered more hard-earned dosh for a six character plate that says something else again. Don't people get branding or identity?

And they said the guy with 1 plate which was bought at the beginning was stupid, last I heard it was worth over $200k,did see it in Auckland back in 2000,was down by the viaduct, and waiting to cross the road,a nice sounding roar was heard,a ferrari came past with it on.

Best couple I saw were in the old car magazines parts for sale,as follows -MOTSUX,GMSUX,was about 15yrs ago.

Old boss had a plate for our work vans, plus his own car about 1995 ish, thought good adds for business, except his car was cryptic and noone new what the hell it meant, except him when he bought it,weird sense of humour.Had a few beers one night after work,a funeral director was with us,we talked about a few plates for his vehicles,we came up with-DEAD,
DIED,DEATH,DYING,DEATH1,2,3 etc,and the one for cemetery BURYED,and crematorium BURNT.

Think I still have SSH8ER,for the quintesential Ford lover(like me),suitable to piss off the commodore and camaro lovers too,

I bought my personalised plate in my first year at varsity, cost about $325. Love it to pieces and people always remember my car! Funny, I've met about three people in the last six months who, when they see my car, say "I've seen that car around HEAPS!". I'm trying not to get a complex, my car is more memorable than its driver ........

Well I'm glad the price of personalised plates has gone up coz it makes mine all the more exclusive!

If ya want a P plate just get it. Forget the money thing it's only money. Ya can't take it with you when you go because there's no pockets in a shroud.

Yay! The best compliment I've had is hearing about a brand new Mercedes (one of the big long ones - pardon my ignorance about matters automotive) with a version of my plate that's not nearly so "cool" - meaning isn't immediately obvious etc. I drive a very modest-mobile, made me feel great!

I can't stand those plates where you have to try desperately for a minute or two to figure out what they mean .......

i thought mine was simple but I have been in my car when people have been trying to work it out and that look on their face when they finally work it out is priceless.
