Just wondering how far other's on here ride their trye's down to before changing them for new one's . Half/ full worn/ canvass showing ?? & do ya Burn out what's left just for the hell of it . Myself I take them till they are fully worn but adjust my riding to suit the fact there is not much tread left, Eg ride slowly

Last time I took that last mm off my tyre I pinched the tube over a bridge and ended up stranded in the middle of nowhere,it's 3mm for me now,or when ever I feel it's a bit too low.

I usually change mine for the summer - mainly because a years worth of commuting makes them go a bit square. Otherwise will wait til the tread is border-line legal.

Usually wait till its bald in the middle for a road tyre, or lost its grip from too many heat cycles for a race tyre...

I have seen KK use a race tyre down to the canvas.... STILL PUTTING DOWN 1:10's AND 1:11's!!!!!!!!! That man is crazy

    use em up

till it goes flat in the middle on the rear, of course this is risky cause the less tread you have the more prone to punctures you are.

Same here. At only $160 max, so there's no reason not to.

I wait till my roadbikes tyres fail a warrant.

That's when I decide on a new tyre.

i run the rears down till they're basically bald in the middle. i change the front when they're bald on the shoulder. usually works out about 1 front-2 rears...

If it is coming into winter I will definitely change tyres if well worn. Mind you the way summer is at the mo. Just as wet weather pretty much.

    Grip is good! Real good!!!!

Thats when they get changed, I'm not coming off for a dumb reason like stuffed tyres.
