Remember to never split an infinitive. The passive voice should never be used. Do not put statements in the negative form. Proofread carefully to see if you words out. And don't start a sentence with a conjugation. (William Safire)

Ah, yes. Of course the first motorbikes did 300kph, had excellent handling etc.

The future does look bright because the alternative is pretty black.

Once I get some cash I was hoping an electric powered bike might be a project.

Just got a bucket racer today. That might make a suitable chassis for experimenting on.

That's not an electric bike, THIS is an electric bike
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Dont you need lots of space to put batteries, making a bucket a bad choice.

Helped to build an electric bike back in the 1980's.We used an old LE vellocette. The water cooled machines used by the British Police. They had twin apposed motors with shaft drive. We removed the motor, fitted a electric motor in its place and used the built on pannier boxes to hold the batterys. Had to alter the angle of the front forks abit to fit the motor. It went alright but as with all electric vehicles built then the heavy lead acid batteries made them impractical for general use. Now with the new lighter and better batteries electric bikes could be made to work well.

    I'll have to see won't I

I remember seeing a dry cell battery in a friends race bike. It was pretty small and much lighter than I thought. But expensive.
