OK it's not quite a gixxer, but you can still wash your mouth out young man
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I will reluctantly (looks over shoulder) admit that sports bikes' seats are not the most comfortable after a while. I cut a piece of sheepskin to fit mine & it makes a big difference.

Arrow This would be the funniest/stupid...

...question I've come across. The Honda cannot be even compared to that other thing...

From what I have been told by some owners, GSXR can really be a handful if you wana give it heaps where as Honda handeling is a lot nicer on the rider.

If you are talking about which one is better performance wise, then you'd need to be a top racer to find out the difference as all modern 1000 cc inline four sports bikes are top stuff packed with insane amounts of HP.

Does no one here watch the world superbikes or what? Chris Venmulan(sp) springs to my mind, and where are the other jappos in the pack? Oh thats right um, er ahh, I think they are there somewhere aint they?

Honda, that has no bearing whatsoever on road bike performance/comfort/user-friendeness. Apples with apples.

    This poll is rigged

What the hell, who's scewing with the results. Is this poll run by the Zimbabwe Govt's fair and democratic election officals also known as the We support Mugabe and any Suzuki party. Step aside you prejudiced Suzuki supporters so a fair and balanced view can be heard from an equally biased Honda supporter.
Firstly Mini-hooks no one in their right mind wants to pillion on any 1000cc sports bike. The best pillion machine is probably the Honda VFR or Triumph STand for those of larger stature even better, as Hitcher tried to hint at, is the Honda STX1300.
Now back to sports bikes. As someone mentioned early, Chris Vermuelen on the sole Blade in the WSB series made a joke out of the pack of "also ran" other jappers that never got close enough to the front to get in a single camera shot all series! Were ALL those 'other jap riders' having bad days - every race, or were they having so much 'excitment' on their slower bikes that they didn't notice that they were always coming in last? Their scooters might have done better. And some say excellent handling and power delivery is not as exciting? Go figure. Well now that was totally unbiased I'd say. And if anyone disagrees then they are obviously irrational and prejudiced and their opinions should be excluded from this poll. In fact only Honda supporters should be allowed to vote, don't you reckon Robert, worked for you in Zimbabwe land.

2004 was all good in my books though.

    Cool Mini-hooks...

To soften the ride a bit... why not get a piece of sheepskinwool and attach it to the pillon seat.... having sheepskin wool does help the tush to not get so sore on long rides... so try that out on dry days, not when its raining thou.

A FEW MAGS HAVE DONE COMPARO,S THE BEST ONE IS THE JEREZ TEST , THE RESULTS WERE ZX10 FIRST, THEN GSXR1000, THEN UNBELIEVABLY GSXR750, THEN R1 AND LASTLY THE CBR1000 AND RIGHTLY SO. THE TEST IS ALL INDEPENDENT BY TOP RIDERS AND AVERAGE RIDERS ITS A GREAT TEST AS NO COMPANY CAN BUY A RESULT THEY ALSO CANT SEND RINGERS AS THE BIKES ARE BOUGHT AT RANDOM FROM A RETAILER. IN FAST BIKES THEY PUT THE BLADE LAST , GSXR1000 SECOND AND R1 FIRST.BIKES IN RACE CONDITIONS ARE A BIT DIFFERENT YOU CAN HAVE CHEQUE BOOK RACING. BUT GET A GSXR WHICH IS ONLY 18OOO AND SPEND 1000 ON IT ITS A REAL WEAPON. THE BLADE IS 22000 WHICH STILL MAKES IT 3000 MORE THAN THE GSXR WITH A SLIPON ITS EASY TO REMOVE THE SET VALVE FROM THE SUZUKI .THE GSXR HAS REALLY COMFY SEATS AS WELL GOOD FOT TOURING. HONDA HAVE POOR BACKUP FOR PARTS AND WARRANTY ISSUES. AS FOR THE WSB COMMENT WELL THE HONDA DIDNT WIN . BUT WHAT ABOUT THE AMA AND BSB. MY OPINION HONDA MAKE BORING BIKES AND THEIR BUILD QUALITY IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE OTHER JAPPERS

WTF has WSB results got to do with the bikes we ride every day? Very fucking little, unless you do ride a machine worth many hundreds of thousands of dollars, in not only parts but also time spent perfecting, modifying and re-testing many different combinations of said parts.

Like comparing a road std WRX and a WRC spec WRX.

Almost every comparo I've read (no, I haven't done a full 4 bike test myself) has said the CBR1000 does feel boring in comparison to the other 3. However, they say this allows the rider to put in a fast(er) lap without noticing it so much as compared to the other 3. So boring it may be, but a competent fast bike it is.
