'87 would have been at the other MH site, not 100% sure of the history, but am lead to believe this is the third site. Second that I have been to anyway.

    Weres the rest Gav?
The midnite spit was held by the Waimairi motor cycle club, which was me/us and I cant remember why it folded I think it was because of a lack of interest and it does take a lot to organise.
I was on the gate when the orange badge (87) was handard out... cheers Gav for ya money.

ps: badges wouldent all fit onto scaner, Gav note the club badge between the Midnite spit badges, ohhh and the Brass 10 up and theres a Aussie one there too

    hey gav..
we used to have a lot of fun eh!

sweet what kinda chair ya have aj?

at that rally it was a kawka trail bike of some sort .. the side chair had been welded on and we were told by the organises , that they didn't want it going in the morning!!!
got photos of 4 of us in it hooning around the camp site... and NO it wasn't us that crashed into some tents!... but we were next to a couple of the tents they ran over.... shit it was funny.... and NO_ONE GOT HURT!! how the hell ??!!

it never seam to run out of petrol ..BUT it ran out of oil.. it was being pumped out of the header!

but i used to have a xj900 and i bolted a side chair unit to it.. but i olny got it up to 190km/hr ( on a closed road ..bla bla bla) with luke in it... he went to sleep.. he was only a youngn then ... 1-2 years old

but i was never happy on how it was set up...

    what a ride so far!!!!
