You need to get of town more often Jeremy

Good to see you are interested in bikes JS and welcome to Kiwibiker. It sounds like you need to get out of Queenstown a bit more or read a few more bike mags so you can recognise the many bike species that wander the NZ wilderness.

No bike shops in Queenstown but. A couple of OK ones in Alexandra though.

Too many fah fah foreigners in Queenstown. I roared around there in first gear on the Zrex and nobody took a blind bit of notice of its throaty burbling. Unlike Masterton. I guess I'll have to think about some Neptunes for the STX...

just thought of some more 'cool' bikes, KTM Dukes, some blades, GB's, Trumph Thruxtons, Nortons, RD's, XS's and XJ's, Proper sporty's....basically anything that looks badass, not sporty.
Yeh Central Otago does have a lack of bikes, used to live in Cromwell while the old man help tunnel for Downers.
Heard that place is a ghost town now.
Get yourself a bike kid, as its a prime place to be a hooligan (well a safe one anyhows).
