    I did, and had no problem. Would echo that the assessor was slow, but they outsource assessing and I'm not sure they're any worse than anyone else.

    FWIW I am thoroughly in favour of insurance, as much for the "hit a beemer" scenario as anything else.

    Swann for me, claimed this year and it was no hassle and a good result.

    Nac Insurance

    national Auto Club, $550 bucks, full cover on a 2000 R1 with roadside assistance. Not made a claim yet though.

    The last bit doesn't seem to matter - I told them I currently have 70 bonus points, and they said it was irrelevant.

    I too went through kiwibike, and was most impressed, after years with State, then a year with AMI, neither of whom seemed to really care much that we had house + contents + four (4!) motor vehicle policies.
    ... and that's what I think.

    I have my 600 Hornet with Swann through Kiwibike. ~260 pa with 250 excess whereas State (who I've only ever had great dealings with) was ~200 pa with 1000 excess....I went with lower excess but higher prem.

    Dave and Kiwibike crew were tops to deal with.
