Jeepers your a brave man! I've been to Thunder X when its really wet its almost unridable on that slppery clay.
You better call first the weathers been so bad this last week it may not even be open. Don't wanna see you waste all that petrol if Thunder is closed. You may have 2 choices due to the weather! Woodhill or stay home.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

i went for a ride around the neighbours farm yesterday, most fun ive had in ages!! semi-aqua planing over the paddocks haha! They gullys get abit exciting but my new tires work like magic! especially after my practicly bald front tyre, it rides in the wet the same as it used to in the dry haha

anyway will hav to try get up to woodhill during the winter, once the neighbours and dad get pissed with me ripping up the paddocks..
My choice is what I choose to do,
And if I'm causing no harm, it shouldn't bother you.

Sand sucks, and $40 is a bit on the steep side (admittedly still waaay cheaper than a track day though). I reckon go play in the mud at Kimmies or Thunder!!

    How bad can it be?

Obviously you haven't ridden there in the middle of winter then?

alot of people struggle around there even when its only a bit wet, I have spent many days sitting at the top of some of the hills on the A track watching people wipeout trying to get up them, some classic entertainment.

Yeah, I'm keen as for Sunday. I was thinking of deciding tomorrow where to head to, depending on the weather between now and then.

I've seen two bikes disappear in quick succession up to their handlebars in the side of a mud bank at Thunder when they tried to use it as a jump . . . I'd rate that as being more than "a bit wet", and your right about it being classic entertainment. Up to the point where your thigh deep in mud trying to pull the bikes back out. The WR250 (2/) wasn't too bad, but man that DRZ400 was a heavy SOB, even with three of us hauling on it!

Yeah i've seen some real funny shit out there in the wet, guys on 450's thinkin they can just drop into these holes and rev the shit out of them to get out and end up digging themselves even deeper, bikes boiling over, chains flying off, clutches getting fried, some real classics.
