leather jacket tho.... not that I reckon its a good idea, but it does get fairly warm on the gold coast... and she's wearing more than most sport-bike riders up there!

Mrs H has got a vented mesh jacket ordered. Hopefully the weather will get hotter when it arrives...

On Monday I saw this bloke on what looked like a Gixxer 600 head out onto the Southern motorway from Hobson St in shorts, a lightweight windbreaker and some low cut sneakers with no socks! Good luck that man!

You should try riding n Asia. In places like Malaysia, Hong Kong ( a bit better) and Vietnam having a 'windbreaker' on is extra protection! I'm not talking about people on scooters either, not that that's any safer. T Shirts and jeans, with sandals, is the order of the day. You might have seen the photo doing the rounds of riders in Jamaica. Over there the girls wear beachwear riding pillion, and I'm talking 1000cc plus machines! The more skin showing the more they like it, and believe me, they don't leave much to the imagination! Great when they're upright, but I'd hate to see the result of a smash.
It's a hard road boy.......so try not to land on it.
