That's actually a very good idea. The PCs can be a bit cranky sometimes, and running a 'zero map' or disconnecting them can sort it out.
If it turns out that it actually runs better with the PC disconnected, I'd go back to the shop and tell them to fix it.
Heck, you should go back to them and get them to fix it regardless: what's the point of paying all that money for a Power Commander, then some more for a dynotune, and not be happy with the results? [insert spudwhat emoticodweebicon here]

Tuning is a artform - sometimes you get a picasso, sometimes to get a slightly oxygen starved fat chick who paints with their feet.

- K&N filter
- Power commander

This was all tuned on a dyno and compared to a mates Night Rod Special, mine is definitely not running as it should. I took it back to the shop and they said it's running fine, plugs are not gunked up etc, etc...

He would be one of the more clued up guys around when it comes to dynos and tuning

Power commanders are junk mate. You need the genuine race tuner (not just the fueler) fitted...and sorted. Bring it down here!

+1,if you gave me one i would throw it in the bin and carry on with my old yosh box.Amazing how many problems people have with Power commanders..was on another forum the other day reading a guys rant about his when it crashed in the middle of nowhere..............he was absolutly fucked,nothing he could do at all.

Do tell.Interesting subject really,ive had a Yosh box for a few years and awhile back sent it to a mate in the states with a very modded TLR,whilst it was over there he got together with some guys who ride Vstroms of all things and found they could flash there bikes with it and it actually did something which was hard to work out,the thing ended up doing the rounds of guys on the Strom forum over there,interesting stuff when you get to the nitty gritty.......of which i only understand a little of.

For Suzuki's we can sort them out with a teckin (sp) tuner...on our dyno. Mint.

he did wonders on my buell with his dyno - and was really approachable and reasonable.
