Oh...Yea...I don't commute either cos I work from home too. Work area is between said home & gixxer, and I'm too lazy to walk THAT far.![]()

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I need a cage for work, and the company supply it, so it goes to work most days. On a few days a month though I take the bike if i know I won't need to go out of the office to visit someone. Especially on really sunny days! Basically, I take the bike whenever I can, but it's not often enough for my liking.
It's a hard road boy.......so try not to land on it.
Got sick of the traffic when we were living in Auckland so I got the GS500 for commuting on. The car would get dragged out on really crap days though.
Since moving to Napier the GS stays in Auckland for work, which means that I commute in all weather these days. Though lately it seems to be more crap than good :disapint:

Yes I commute daily on my bike. Rarely use the motocycles though as they don't get a chance to warm up properly.
Commute as much as possible on bike.... Live in Birkenhead and work in East Tamaki... Traffic and sitting in a cage is no fun!

I don't because I live just a 15min stroll from w*rk and the bike wouldn't even get heated up properly by the time I got there.
I only take it to work when I'm on 7am-3pm shift & planning to go for a blast after work, during the summer when the sun doesn't set until 9pm.

i commute when I'm going to uni (AUT). Taking a car is out of the question because of parking prices (and 'cause I sold it...) and I really don't like wasting hours of my day on busses and paying a fair bit to do it too.
Plus commuting on the bike is fun!
I just need some better wet weather gear...
Been commuting the last 10 years now. Wouldn't have it any other way (though if the weather is truly, utterly diabolical, I will occasionally use public transport).
25kms there, 25kms back roughly - which is why it was all the funnier when my insurance company cocked up a quote, doing it on the basis that I rode 3,000 miles (roughly 4,800 kms?) a year! If I renewed on 1st Jan, I'd use up my allowance by about the end of March!

Another UK commuter here, only real option these days. Snow and ice will keep the bike in the shed but that's usually only 2 days a year.
I ride my Kingquad to cowshed every day, traffics a bitch, cows cut me off all the time!
