    Thumbs up Hot or Not

Don't know if this has been posted before but while searching the web for imagery to destroy as part of my design process I came across this website.

Dunno if the stuff looks cool or not, sometimes it looks nice, other times it looks shit, what do you guys and gals think? And would you ever do it to your bike, bearing in mind it will defintely help you get seen at night. I reckon I could do it, but it would have to be nice and discreet, dunno, maybe....

There are loads more pics on the website itself.

meh... I can take it or leave it.
Seems with the advent of "World Biker Buildoff" and "American Chopper" that everyone wants to customise in some way now. Notice I said 'customise' instead of 'build from the ground up'? (the way it should be done)

My girlfriend is just coming to grips with the CBR as it is. With UV lights like the F4i I think she would dis-own me. There is also the "hey look at me" factor that would attract the pooolice on a friday night in Courtney.

I plan on customizing my bikes. Building from the ground up is hard as cause you have to worry about getting the frame assigned a VIN number and all that, easier to start with a frame that has one allready and chop it up.

As for the lights, I wouldn't mind having a blood red light under the gas tank lighting up the engine, but nothing more than that.

meh, professionals doing a less than amateur job, and at atleast 4x the price.

My setup cost me $45 all up... you'll see it when you see it. I'll just say that the R6 is bluer at night than it is during the day.

only thing i would say is that i wish the neon over my engine was as bright as the one shown there.

For those of you wanting to see it first, be at Meremere on Friday.

Yeah I reckon those would look trick....in red anyway (or orange maybe....). Would help night visibility to other motorists at least.

that would be me, but i wear a belt now, and i dont have decent baseball cap...

as for the turbo and blow of valve - will come when the budget allows!

sure "why not just get an R1?", but which gets more cred? An R1 or a turbo R6 with blowoff valve and NOS lol

    yeh, you forgot the NOS.

from what i've heard they dont work so well on bikes. My bike glows hugely at night - no driver would have the excuse to say "i didnt see him" cos its just so f**ken obvious.
