    Oldy but goody

Cheers for that Danger. Interesting. Guy answered hours Q in original listing. Can't remember exactly how many but it was well up there, but what surprised me was the lack of engine work.

Have tried to find out model spec changes since first model but hard to find info. I settled on 07 as porting (or powervalve?) changes and a different pipe supposedly added some bottom end (despite smaller carb) Trouble with this model is they tend not to get trundled around on farm rides by sit down riders, so wanted late model hoping for fewer mech issues. Looked at new GG and used exc yesterday.

Reckless if you're out there, 09s are due end of August.

BTW Danger (RE yr query to Scott) found this item on MX Action website - No more RM 250s being made after this year. Another sad nail in the 2t coffin...

If that guy was that keen on keeping his bike he might have considered taking it to 'bikeshop' for 'repairs' when the writing was on the wall re split up. (By bikeshop I mean a mates garage)

Cheers Camchain!! I'm saving like hell, selling everything I've got and working my ass off!!! 8 weeks or less, shit now I'm worried! LOL!!

    Back on topic!!
Why the hell this stupid lady didn't just keep her bloody mouth shut if she had her husbands approval. And just sell the damn thing without opening that whole break up saga to the world. Says a lot about how bloody silly she is. For goodness sake, its a motocross bike, no rego to trace, take cash, the buyer walks out the gate into the wide blue yonder, how the hell are you gonna repossess that. Ask the crims that steel them from us, the bikes just disappear!
Jeepers doesn't take a rocket scientist to work that out! Must be a drama queen I reckon!! He probably left her with the bike because its shagged and he didn't want to spend any money on it. Betcha that's why!

By the way Cam did you see that 05 Ktm200 90 hrs in Te rapa. Bid of 4k at the mo but it looks in good nick. Theres also an 04 115hrs in Christchurch that looks OK as well.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

    Testosterone is thicker than water

Brotherhood of blokedom is a pretty close knit group (esp motorcyclers). I think you hit a couple of nails on heads there Reckless (quote - just sell the damn thing without opening that whole break up saga to the world). I was thinking if he wasn't feeling guilty about something he wouldn't have let her have the bike though. Who knows what their particular situation is.

I've known a couple of dudes who have come home to find the house devoid of furniture, wife, kids. Never heard of it happening the other way round.

Off topic: Reckless. PMed you about another EXC I looked at.

Nah, it sounds like she'll just piss off and take your bike with her.)))

Well it closed without reaching reserve of $3000.00. Top bid was $2700.00 so perhaps they might be offered the bike at that price.

Twice the displacement, twice the cost and a decibel problem, I'll pass on the inside brraaaap!!!

Na she really wants the $3000:

"The seller has made a fixed price offer for KTM 200 2002.

You can purchase the item now for $3,000.00. This offer is available to all bidders and watchers selected by the seller.

The offer is valid for 7 day(s), or until one of the recipients accepts the fixed price. The first member to accept the offer will win the auction."

.... people can be. Sadly this "I have to be seen to be right, because my feelings are dented" is typical of both genders! Interestingly, the more you make a fuss, the bigger dick you make of yourself.
