    Best ride into work. Ever.

Thank you truckies! I had a completely (and I do mean completely) clear run from Greenlane to Gillies Ave. Not one single vehicle, other than me.

I'd just like to say thanks to the truckies (and good luck with your protest), and thank you to the cop who watched me go past.

And to all the people heading south, if you saw a lone rider heading north doing a "titanic" on an empty Newmarket overbridge . . . it was meeeee!!!

It was a beautiful ride along the waterfront, Tamaki drive was completely empty. More protests please.

Exactly the same for me. About a dozen or so cages and myself pootling along on empty roads.

    Hallelujah!

You truckies can do this every day.

The only time I used my brakes today was when I had to slow down before a corner.

    And clear blue skies.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Don't think so - it was around 7:15 so a fair bit darker. But, it would have looked a lot like this:

The best ride home ever was when there was a major power cut in Auckland CBD. No traffic lights were working and it only took 5 min - normally 20 min. Just goes to show how poorly Auckland City are managing the traffic.

Yeah it was a fantastic ride to work this morning.
I says Let them truckers roll.
"People are stupid ... almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule
