Its insanely awsome and all you haters should stop hating and think this guy did a good job how many of you could do the same?
Blindspott are back as Blacklist check them out

You make it sound like they are the greatest sounding thing on 2 wheels?
Sorry but i love the concept of the motor, i love the engineering, but its sounds like a berlina sewing machine.
Its a shame really as the rest of that bike is near perfect. After market pipes sound good on em - but its still no 2Brothers TL noise wise........

What ever you do don't google "black shadow honda"
its a fantastic sexy bike that never got full production.
I find you comment really pointless when you consider all the flattracker, cafe racer, sport racer etc reps out there.
People build bikes, not corporations.
Look at all the Bonneville look alike Honda GBs, Kawasaki W650s etc out there. Most are better reps than what Jon Bloor produces.

Fwiw if you guys want to see some awsome reps go buy the latest English "Classic Bike" mag. Some great stuff and no "what would John think" bullshit to put up with.Bet hes wishing he met all the people that knew what he would think in his life.![]()
Be the person your dog thinks you are...
Err.....yes, your correct, people do build bikes. I would also say that there most definitely IS a difference between what comes out of American Chopper and the likes of what John Britten and, perhaps, Michael Czysz (www.motoczysz.com) have created. Both were/are visionaries who had ideas that were way ahead of their times. Now, if your interested in a kiwi punching well above their weight-against the corporates-look no further than Kim Newcombe and the Konig.
Not losing site that the original topic of this thread was around a Britten tribute bike-it is a fine personal expression of one's enthusiasm for a particular bike and legacy. Obviously, much work has gone into creating this and this must be applauded.
Looks good to me -- Instantly recognized it as a Britten copy which is all its supposed to be.
I don't think John Britten would be offended to quote some body
"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"
"You never understood that it ain't no good, you shouldn't let other people get your kicks for you" - Bob Dylan
Judging from "one mans dream" about John B and how he is such a regular down to earth bloke I reckon he would be pretty stoked someone went to all the trouble to make a tribute.
Tis a pitty its not a faster bike in it's own right, ah well still a nice bit of DIY work.Reckon he'd be pretty sad nobody else took up his fork idea for race bikes for years (well till motoczysz afaik)
They should've made a run of official bikes for road use, tune them to be less lethal but still impressive superbikes. Would've sold like hotcakes, and they had the moulds and everything for production runs sorted![]()
The fork was not Britten's idea.
Who are those "they" who should have made an official run for road use? Britten and his band of helpers made labor intensive, hand made racing bikes that needed to be mollycoddled by experts 24/7 to keep them running properly. They were never near anything that would have been remotely suitable for mass production.
Ride fast or be last.
Im going to squeeze out a big turd and make a tribute to a GN250 out of it.
I call it like I see it. Don't take it personally.
i reckon he done a good job with what he had to work with, a couple of years ago i made a computer mock up of a bit of a bastard child between a britten/buell it looked pretty cool.......
