If you really like it then just do it, but I hope that your able to save quick enough. Lifes too short not to Mark, like someone previously said, GO FOR IT!!!

Have a look on TM for DRZ400E, I really enjoyed mine and its probably much more flickable.

I was considering the DRZ but i think the yamaha 660 would give me a bit more grunt as it would be a commuter and a weekend play/ sideways toy.

Depends if a drz can cruise happily at 110 i guess,

    Yep, black is doable!
And they really are a cool bike mate.
    Go'on, you know you wanna!
Set of saddle bags or a back pack, hey presto, tourer!
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

With standard enduro gearing it cuised at 140 when I wanted, but was not much quicker on top speed than that. Can change the sprokets but then it would have compromised elsewhere and thats why I kept it the same. Also the water cooled bike could take far more abuse that a air cooled model. If I treated an XR the way that I treated the DRZ then it would be dead. Although the level of tech its not fair to compare.
