Its got that dull primer look paint, havent worked out if you are sposed to polish or not
Aha, so it *was* an RS250. What did the insurance end up costing, then?
He's a lucky little bugger to have you guys as parents. My mum always went absolutely spare at the idea of me getting a motorcycle while I was living at home.
I take it he already has some riding experience, then? On the dirt, or small road bikes or summat? Hopping straight onto a 70hp two-stroke racer as a first bike could be a bit fraught for some.
But I'm sure he'll enjoy it
And once he moves on he can keep it as an F3 racer, if he so desires.
Beautiful stuff.
kiwibiker is full of love, an disrespect.

I don't understand how you can be bad parents.
By the sounds of it you've raised a fine boy who can now handle a powerful machine at a young age. Plus support his interests financially.
I can only hope to be as successful as Melon3 and you.
BTW - has the boy joined up here yet? If not get him on, we need pics of his baby.
Damn I'm jealous...

Yeah. Been racing MX for years, RMZ250. Traded RG150E on it. In some ways it is alot safer than the 150 as we ride mostly country roads cruising at 100-120 and it was a little slow in overtaking department! Do not have to take as big risks!
Coming from a daughter of a "bad" parent who helps with the purchasing of a bike, I can say from the daughters perspective that there is NO WAY you are a bad parent. You are the coolest kind of parent coz u take an interest in what your kid wants to do and you can hang out while doing it. Also, your son/daughter will be the envy of all their mates coz you are way cooler than their parents![]()

Thanks dad!!![]()
BASTARDS hahaha na just jokes. You guys are not bad parents at all. My folks refuse to pay anything on the buying side of the bike (thier little way of showin how they feel) but my dad pays my insurance and although my mom worries they have come to accept it and stuff.![]()
. That there rs will be a hell load quicker than the old rg hmmmm

Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...
My folks topped up my paper-run savings to help me buy a DT100 when I was 15 - to get me to college and make me "more independent"
(I was the youngest - I think they wanted me out of the house)
I sold my son the wifes car(too cheap of course but I refused to just give it to him) and the proceeds went to towards getting me back into biking (yay) after many years absence.
It's great when you're parents are into the same thing you are, and are able and willing to help you out :cool2:
as long as the kid does'nt take advantage and ruin the bike, it's all good to help your kids.
I was banned from having anything to do with motorcycles as a kid! Took me till I was 34 to get a bike.
Hey Krusti As above how much for Insurance?? I see these use a RGV250 motor to power them . Excellent going for buying your boy the bike .
