You just reminded me of a point I meant to raise. You fullers might like to try high tyre pressures when riding in the snow. When we were down south at Queens Birthday weekend I was running 30 psi with well worn D606 tyres and I recon I had better traction than the others I was with when they were running 20psi with much better condition tyres with similar tread patterns.
Point of the higher pressure is that the tyre digs through the snow and grips on the ground underneath rather than sitting on top and spinning.
If any of you can be bothered to try this out I'm keen to get some feedback.

moments on the seal but when i got onto our road
metal, clay, snow etc wot a ride 140 ish kms & didn't loose it once scared myself sh.... few times (making note get brighter lights) & sucked up the seat when it happened but made it home safe & in one piece with a
from ear to ear






LOL - one of them is El Scooto (on a ttr 250 raid) who is basically the same size as me and the other was TA (on his DR) so I probably had 10-15kgs on either of them.
